EtherNet is a race room for A Link to the Past Randomizer. Everyone gets the same clock, a chat, and lines of text that show up on the HUD of the game itself when somebody finishes, forfeits, or just has something to say about your last death.
Your rooms on this browser
Closed the tab? Your way back in is here. A room ends a few days after the last person leaves, or when whoever made it closes it.
Nothing here is a mock-up. These are three captures from one race on 20 September 2026: this site in Chrome, linked through SNI to snes9x-nwa on the same PC, playing a fresh Open seed. Bo is a second racer on his own connection, scripted for the test.
The first person in is the host. Everyone else opens the link, types a name, and they are in the lobby. People who only want to watch can do that too.
If SNI or QUsb2Snes is running, the page finds your game within a few seconds: emulator or FXPak Pro, the same way an auto-tracker does. There is nothing to install and nothing to type in.
Linked games stop their own clock at the Triforce room, and they can be written to. Not linked? The race still works. You press Done yourself.
The host starts a countdown. When someone finishes or forfeits, every linked game says so on the bottom row of the HUD, in the game's own font. Racers can also write a line to one game or to all of them. It is logged in the chat, it has a cooldown, and anyone can switch it off for themselves.
LiveSplit starts on GO and can finish you on your last split. racetime.gg: paste the race link and the room takes its clock and announces its finishes; it is read-only, so you still ready up and .done over there. QuakeCast puts two racers' cams, games and trackers into each other's OBS, on the same clock.
